Cara is an experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about working with babies, children, adolescents and young adults. She is the director of a small early intervention and rehabilitation physiotherapy practice in the Illawarra. 


In addition to her clinical roles, Cara is the lead physiotherapist for the ParaMatildas National Football Team and current chair of the NSW Branch APA Paediatric Physiotherapy Committee.

Craig Boettcher

Craig is the founder of Regent Street Physiotherapy which he opened in 1999. He graduated with Ist Class Honours from The University of Sydney in 1992 and has worked in private practice in Newcastle for 23 years. Craig has a special interest in the assessment and management of shoulder and back injuries. Craig was awarded his PhD in 2010 by the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Sydney, for his research into shoulder function, and is currently an Honorary Associate researcher with the Faculty.

 

During his career as a physiotherapist Craig has attended and presented at numerous courses and conferences including presentations at the World Congress of Physical Therapy, Vancouver 2007, the Australian Conference of Science and Medicine in Sport, Port Douglas 2010, and the Australian Physiotherapy Conferences, Sydney 2009 and Melbourne 2013, and is a presenter at the Level 3 Sports Physio course which is the final level of training for Physiotherapist’s attaining their Sports Title.

Craig is a Titled Sports Physiotherapist and has worked with local, State and National teams in many different sports. He has worked with the Australian Swim Team for over 8 years attending the Olympics, 3 World Championships and 2 Commonwealth Games with the team. He has also travelled internationally with the Australian women’s softball, and Paralympic swimming and basketball teams. Locally he has worked with the Newcastle netball state representative teams for many years. He is an NSWIS and Hunter Academy of Sport preferred provider, and presents frequently for the Coast and Valley Swimming Association.

Stephanie opened The Little Physio in 2019 with the intention of creating a practice that embodied her values of excellence in clinical care, empowering families and collaborative evidence based care.With over 15 years of clinical experience in paediatric physiotherapy, Stephanie's practice follows the philosophy that therapy is most successful when treatment is specific to each individuals direct needs, whilst including the wider developmental picture.

Dr Edward Butterworth (MB.Ch.B)

Dr Edward Butterworth is the designer of the PZ foot orthotic which has been used to help in the treatment of many posturalimbalance problems including scoliosis, flat feet, heel pain and now the recently reported locomotor difficulties of Cerebral Palsy. Dr Butterworth now sees patients at the Elevate CBD Medical Centre in Sydney (9252 2225) but also has trained health practitioners throughout Australia.
