Kerry’s qualifications include a Masters degree and a Level 4 Throws coaching accreditation. Kerry has coached multiple National Junior and Senior medalists, current NSW All Schools record holders and National record holders as well as athletes on both state and Australian teams, including the Rio Paralympic 2016 Australian Team. 

​

Kerry believes in nurturing talented athletes, and aims to “improve performance over time by developing technique in the most effective and efficient manner.” Kerry uses a task-oriented approach, and focuses on the aspects that the athletes can control.

Bre and Kaz have been coaching together for over 10 years. They have coached many national and international representatives both able bodied and para. They believe in focusing on ability not disability and as such have an integrated para and able bodied squad. They have coached a number of  para athletes include those just beginning in the sport, Australian open and junior record holders, Paralympians and  a 3 time Para World Championship medalist.


Bre was an Australian team coach for the Rio Paralympics and the 2015 and 2017 Para World Championships and is the NSW Target Talent Throws coach. Kaz is a current Athletics Australia Junior Event coach and team throws coach for World U20 Championships.

Achievers Program

Para Coach - Swimming

Nepean Aquatic Centre

Do you have a disability, want to be around people that encourage you, want to increase your self esteem and confidence or just to make new friends?

​

You can do all this and more by joining the Achievers Program at Nepean Aquatic Centre.

​

The aims of the program are to deliver a healthy and professional learning environment, provide the swimmer with a pathway from learn to swim to competitive swimming, swim for fun, learn survival skills for life and set the environment for confidence on a one on one basic.

 

The cost of the program is $17.00 per lesson - (30 minutes duration), this is payable for the full month on the first Sunday of the month. Lessons are conducted on a one on one basis.

 

Day: Sunday

Time: 11.00am - 2.30pm

Location: Nepean Aquatic Centre, 16-19 Lambridge Place, Penrith.
