About The Event

CPSARA has teamed up with City Community Tennis (Jensen's Tennis) for a fun day out for our CPSARA community! We will have a selection of wheelchair tennis and standing tennis for you to try with support from their inclusion tennis coach and his assistant on the day! Wheelchair tennis is a fun game and is for anyone with or without a disability. You don't need to be in a wheelchair to play wheelchair tennis! Jensen's tennis has also introduced adaptive stand up tennis for ambulant athletes in their weekly inclusion hub and are keen for our ambulant athletes to give it a go.  There will be the option to meet current members who have cerebral palsy and attend their weekly hub. Come along for a day of COVID safe tennis games and catch ups with family and friends! Date: Sunday 15th November 2020 Time: 1pm-3pm Where: Alexandria Tennis Courts, Sydney What to bring: Sunscreen, a hat, a drink bottle and snacks! Tennis wheelchairs and tennis equipment will be provided. If you have your own racquet feel free to bring it along! We will have a social lunch during the day. RSVP: By Wednesday 11th November, 5pm by emailing secretary@cpsara.org.au Due to COVID19 restrictions and expected numbers, RSVP is essential. Members must RSVP before the 11th of November to participate. We want to make sure everyone gets the opportunity to join in. Family members and carers can come along to watch and support however they must also RSVP for COVID19 numbers.
